I may not know much about fashion, but bluefly making online chats with a personal shopper available seems like a cool thing for girls to have access to.
I also really like the idea of Est. Today giving the buyer to power to personalize and design their own clothes for purchase. I feel as though girls would really enjoy the ability to have power in designing outfits and show off what they’ve created. This would help with word of mouth/viral advertising as tweens discuss the clothes and the fun process of creating them offered by Est. Today.

I love the idea of Est Today. In most cases, teens would love a place to share their ideas and be creative, and this sounds like the perfect place to do so. Many teens have great ideas that could actually turn into a great item to sell on the market, and this sounds like the perfect place for them to start their success. If they are really serious about fashion design (as many teens are) they could get alot of experience with this website, seeing the other designs that fellow teens have created, as well as getting feedback on their own creations. It seems to me, that with the speed of technology and social media today, that it is never too early to start thinking about your future career and actually getting experience in the field that you would eventually like to be a part of.

I thought Bluefly was just a place to buy clothes and this post shows that they do more than that. I think it is awesome that Bluefly is using social media in more innovative ways. Being able to watch videos of the catwalk and then hear tweets coming from Bryant Park would make an fashion loving person excited. I also like the idea of talking with a personal shopper as you buy clothes. With so many online shopping sites it is important to stand out and Bluefly is attempting to use these creative ways to show why their site is the best.

This completely makes sense to me. There is no reason that fashion shows should be just for the few that manage to get a seat in the audience of the major Fashion Week runway shows. There are average people who are so enthusiastic about fashion, and wish they could be part of these runway shows that announce the new fashions. And the designers obviously want their new lines seen and talked about. I’m just glad that Bluefly realizes that their customers want to be part of the discussion on the runway trends. Producing video and providing commentary is not expensive, and really opens the door for communication about the trends.

What better customer service can you ask for? Bluefly is doing a great job marketing themselves as well as the fashion industry and individual fashion brands. They seem to be taking advantage of the Web 2.0 in every way. I’m especially impressed by their Personal Shopper feature. Being able to live chat with a personal shopper is something all women want! I also really like how the fashion show videos are narrated. Showing viewers the new trends and telling them the secret tips is thrilling. I will definitely check out this website regularly!
